These terms form an agreement between you and StudyLah. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use StudyLah.
What StudyLah is
StudyLah is an AI-assisted study aid. It generates summaries, practice questions, feedback, estimated scores and quizzes based on the material you provide. It does not replace your lecturer, your course material or your own judgement.
Your account
- You must provide accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- One account is for one person. Don't share logins or resell access.
- Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload. You confirm that you have the right to upload it and that doing so doesn't breach anyone else's copyright or your institution's rules. You grant StudyLah a limited licence to process your content solely to generate and store your results.
Acceptable use
- Don't upload unlawful, harmful or infringing material, or content containing other people's sensitive personal data.
- Don't attempt to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.
- Don't use automated means to bypass usage limits or plan entitlements.
Academic integrity
StudyLah is built to help you understand and practise your material. Submitting AI-generated text as your own work may breach your institution's rules. You are responsible for following those rules, and StudyLah is not liable for academic penalties resulting from misuse.
Plans and payment
- A free plan is available with a limited allowance. Paid plans provide a larger allowance for their stated period.
- Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. Access is activated only after payment is verified.
- Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases; a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
- You can cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are covered in our Refund Policy.
Availability
We aim to keep StudyLah available and accurate, but the service is provided on an "as is" basis. We may occasionally need to pause access for maintenance, and features may change as the product develops.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, StudyLah is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost marks, lost opportunities or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. You can close your account at any time by contacting support.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as StudyLah evolves. The date at the top of this page shows the current version, and continued use after an update means you accept it.
