This policy explains what information StudyLah collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It applies to mystudylah.app and every tool inside your StudyLah account.
Information we collect
- Account details: your name, email address and an encrypted password (or a sign-in provider identifier if you sign in through a third party).
- Files and text you submit: the lecture slides, notes, assignments and rubrics you upload, plus the answers you type into the study tools.
- Generated results: the summaries, questions, feedback and scores StudyLah produces, saved to your history so you can reopen them.
- Usage and billing records: how many generations you've used, your plan status, and payment references returned by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card details.
- Technical data: basic log information such as browser type and timestamps, used to keep the service secure and working.
How we use your information
- To create your account and keep you signed in.
- To read your documents and generate your study material.
- To apply your plan's usage limits fairly and process payments.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
- To detect abuse, prevent fraud and improve reliability.
We do not sell your personal information or your uploaded files.
AI processing
To generate results, the text extracted from your document is sent to our AI model provider through a secure server-side connection. It is used only to produce your result and is not used to train public models by StudyLah. Generated output is stored in your account history until you delete it.
Storage and security
Files are kept in private storage scoped to your user account, and database access is restricted so that only you can read your own rows. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so please avoid uploading highly sensitive personal information that isn't needed for your studies.
How long we keep it
Uploaded files and generated results are kept while your account is active so you can revisit them. Billing records are kept as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. When you delete your account, your files and results are removed.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of processors to run StudyLah: a cloud database and storage provider, an AI model provider, an email delivery provider, and a payment provider. Each receives only the data needed to perform its function.
Your rights and choices
- Access or correct your account details from your dashboard.
- Delete individual results from your history at any time.
- Request deletion of your account and all stored files by emailing support@mystudylah.app. We action deletion requests within 30 days.
Children
StudyLah is intended for university and college students. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
